PRO Onboarding - One Off Settings

Guide for initial Settings confirmation to use maximise PRO for you.

One-off Settings - (unless you want to tweak in future)

1) Upload Patient & Appointment Data

(normally during trial) via Settings -> Clinical Integration

Why: The initial upload and processing can take about a minute per 1000 patients so we'd recommend starting it first.

How: Follow the instructions on the page - everything is step-by-step and takes less than 5 minutes.

2) Review Recalls

Why: Recalls are the system's equivalent of searches and instructions for requirements, you can determine:

  • If the recall is funded or not and how that recall is communicated/grouped;

  • What population is to be included based on their demographics, diagnosis or medications;

  • What tests/reviews/actions should be undertaken (and by whom) to fulfil all appointment requirements.

While we believe all templates are in line with NICE Guidelines, you may have a preference to adjust frequencies or requirements to suit your Practice/Surgery preferences.

How:

  1. Click into each recall (click 'Access' on the right side)

  2. review the summary and adapt in the tabs above if needed,

  3. click to make reviewed, or make inactive.

This can take anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours depending on who and how it's processed.

We'd recommend at least 2 staff members are involved in this process;

  1. A clinician (ideally alongside an Administrator or Practice Manager) to judge if the recall is in line with Practice preferences / adapt the test/reviews wanted.

  2. Whomever is most engaged with Enhanced Services/Revenue Generating QOF/QAIF to ensure the recalls which are currently relevant for claims are appropriate for your locality and add any other funded recalls you wish - think QOF, reviews, vaccinations etc.

3) Select Optimisations

Why: do you want to adjust the anchor month to the Patient's birthday month?

We've seen significant improvement in Patient engagement where they have clear requirements provided

Used alongside our printable/PDF 'Personalised Annual Patient Plans' patients become much more proactive in booking appointments, saving the need for invites, and then attend those appointments.

How: Simple select which anchor type you wish to use. No need to do anything if you want to use the Last Medication Review (this will be used by default)
